The F-4U Corsair, also know as the
bent wing bird. This one is from a Byron's kit and features scale
rotating retracts, three piece flaps, and is pulled along by a Huskvarna
engine tucked away behind a dummy radial engine insert. I have both the
3 and the 4 blade scale props to go along with it. I plan to add full
sequencing gear doors and hope to have this one as a member of my hangar
for a long time. Now if I could only figure a way to make the wings
fold?!?!? Would that be neat or what!! Sounds like a project for the
future.
